Gratiot Central Market maybe seen deemed as it's right across the street to the world famous Eastern Market, but it has its own charm. Mostly meat vendors here at Gratiot Central Market, and upon you walk in you'll see Ronnie's Meats on both sides, selling all kinds of meats you'll need. And heard that the 102 years old Wigley's serves the best Corned Beef in Detroit, will have to find out next time.

I was shocked what I saw on there. I was never expecting to see that many fish shops and other food Evander‘s in there I will recommend it for anybody to go there doing morning hours between lunch too. It’s so good never regret it.

Nice selection of beef, poultry, pork and seafood. They have different vendors to choose from with the beef and pork. Just keep your head on a swivel and your wallet in your front pocket. Homeless sit in the front entry way blocking your way asking for a handout. All the vendors are nice and helpful with all your questions.

The absolute cheapest place to ever buy breakfast sausage. That's literally what I go in here for. There's two different places, one of them charges $1.49 a pound if you buy 5 lb. The other charges $1.99 a pound and sometimes they'll give you a discount if you buy bulk and sometimes they won't. Just ask. But regardless you're not beating that in the store anywhere. All grocery stores charged over $3 or maybe $4 for sausage for a pound. So there you have it. But the other cool thing is you get this old school flavor of shopping for meat and stuff. You will never see any grocery store have this selection of meat. Ever. And it just feels good. I don't know what it is, it's a weird phenomenon but whenever I leave one of these places and I bought food here, I just have this good feeling. I don't know what it is.

Went an got my meats! Haven't been in a long time and so grateful I went! The grocery stores had no meat 😫 I spent sooo much money and it was worth it...they were stocking the shelves with the meats...I got there right when they opened today. So happy they opened on a Sunday! I got steak bites 😋 marinated chicken wings (Honey Barbecue, Buffalo & Sweet and spicy), Turkey Italian sausage, shaved steak, etc. I WILL BE BACK!!!!
